Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District announce an arrest has been made regarding an Assault With Intent to Kill (Knife) offense that occurred on Sunday, December 8, 2019, in the 4400 block of Gault Place, Northeast.
At approximately 12:04 am, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location. Upon arrival, members located an adult male, inside of a residence, suffering from a stab wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries. The investigation revealed that this offense occurred inside of a residence and originated as a dispute between known parties.
On Sunday, December 8, 2019, 44-year-old Dishon Washington, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault With Intent to Kill (Knife).
