Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault With Intent to Kill (Gun) offense that occurred on Thursday, March 28, 2019, in the 1300 block of 1st Street, Southwest.
At approximately 6:56 pm, the suspect and the victim engaged in a verbal altercation at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and shot the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Tuesday, April 9, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 17-year-old Jordan Waldron, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged as an adult under Title 16 with Assault With Intent to Kill (Gun).
