Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon Offense: 3000 Block of Naylor Road, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon offense that occurred on Sunday, September 29, 2019, in the 3000 block of Naylor Road, Southeast.

At approximately 4:12 pm, the suspect struck the victim with a tire iron at the listed location. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.

On Monday, November 4, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 37-year-old Torrin Wade, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
