Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon offense that occurred on Monday, September 23, 2019, in the 2600 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 1:19 am, the suspect brandished a blunt object and assaulted the victim. The suspect then attempted to flee the scene in a vehicle. The suspect was arrested by responding officers.
On Monday, September 23, 2019, 24 year-old Cabdi Cali, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
