Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fifth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon offense that occurred on Friday, June 5, 2020, in the 1800 block of Central Place, Northeast.
At approximately 7:51 am, the suspect and victims were involved in an argument at the listed location. During the argument, the suspect struck the victims with a rock and a stick. The suspect was arrested by responding officers.
On Friday, June 5, 2020, 45 year-old Stewart Brown, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
