Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Motor Vehicle) offense that occurred on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, in the 1500 block of 22nd Street, Northwest.
At approximately 1:18 am, the suspect and victims were engaged in a verbal dispute at the listed location. The suspect then entered a vehicle and attempted to strike the victims with the vehicle. The suspect then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
On Wednesday, December 18, 2019, 29 year-old Douglas Ford, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Motor Vehicle).
