Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District announced an arrest has been made in reference to Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offenses that occurred in the Third District at the following locations:
- On Saturday, June 6, 2020, at approximately 3:51 pm, in the 2600 block of 14th Street, Northwest, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. CCN: 20-084-014
- On Sunday, June 7, 2020, at approximately 1:40 pm, in the 2000 block of 14th Street, Northwest, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. CCN: 20-084-514
On Wednesday, June 10, 2020, 32 year-old Delonte King, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with two counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
