Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Third District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Friday, March 20, 2020, in the Unit block of O Street, Northwest.
At approximately 11:54 am, the suspect assaulted the victim inside of an establishment at the listed location. The suspect then brandished a knife and attempted to stab the victim. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
On Friday, March 20, 2020, 35-year-old James Petticolas, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
