Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Tuesday, December 24, 2019, in the 5300 block of Wisconsin Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 6:50 am, the suspect assaulted the victim with a knife at the listed location. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Thursday, December 26, 2019, 51 year-old Cristopher Breckles, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
