Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Monday, October 14, 2019, in the 3800 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast.
At approximately 5:15 pm, the victim and suspect were involved in a verbal altercation at the listed location. During the altercation, the suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
On Monday, October 14, 2019, 36 year-old Marcus Watson, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
