Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Second District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Friday, May 1, 2020, in the 2400 block of Virginia Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 6:43 am, the suspect and victim were engaged in an altercation at the listed location. During the altercation, the suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim suffered from non-life threatening injuries and refused medical treatment on scene.
On Friday May 1, 2020, 40 year-old Tio Debro, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
