Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 2100 Block of 14th Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Friday, November 15, 2019, in the 2100 block of 14^th Street, Northwest.

At approximately 2:00 am, the suspect and victim were engaged in a verbal dispute in a residence at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and threatened to stab the victim. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. No injuries were reported.

On Friday, November 15, 2019, 31 year-old Sohan Mostofa, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
