Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 1700 Block of Columbia Road, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Monday, May 27, 2019, in the 1700 block of Columbia Road, Northwest.

 

At approximately 4:10 pm, the suspect and victim were involved in an altercation at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and threatened the victim. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

 

On Monday, May 27, 2019, 62 year-old Reynaldo Cuevas Diaz, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
