Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fourth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Saturday, April 4, 2020, in the 1400 block of Perry Place, Northwest.
At approximately 6:59 pm, the suspect was involved in a dispute with the victim at the listed location. During the dispute, the suspect brandished a knife. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. A knife was recovered. Investigation at the scene revealed that this offense was the result of a dispute between known parties.
On Saturday, April 4, 2020, 45 year-old Malick Gueye, of no fixed address, was arrested for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
