Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 1400 Block of Columbia Road, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Friday, October 4, 2019, in the 1400 block of Columbia Road, Northwest.


At approximately 5:32 pm, the victim was approached by multiple suspects at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a knife towards the victim. The victim was able to flee the scene. 


On Wednesday, October 9, 2019, 19 year-old Ever Fuentes-Granados, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).


This case remains under investigation.
