Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 1300 Block of Savannah Street, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Saturday, April 13, 2019, in the 1300 block of Savannah Street, Southeast.

At approximately 12:28 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location.  The suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspect then fled the scene.  The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

On Monday, April 15, 2019, a 17 year-old juvenile female, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
