Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Second District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Sunday, January 19, 2020, in the 1300 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 3:00 am, the suspect approached the victims at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and the victims fled the scene. The suspect was arrested by responding officers.
On Sunday, January 19, 2020, 28-year-old Rico Wilson, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
