Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 1200 Block of G Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Second District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Thursday, March 5, 2020, in the 1200 block of G Street, Northwest.

At approximately 9:32 am, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. During an altercation with employees, the suspect brandished a knife and attempted to stab the victim. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

On Thursday, March 5, 2020, 37 year-old Frank Bailey, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
