Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Friday, February 14, 2020, in the 2300 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Southeast

At approximately 10:05 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

On Tuesday, February 18, 2020, 21 year-old Kobie Bryant Swint, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
