Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, November 18, 2019, in the 700 block of 21st Street, Northeast.
At approximately 9:51 pm, the victims and the suspect were involved in a verbal dispute at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and shot at the victims. The suspect then fled the scene. No injuries were reported.
On Monday, November 18, 2019, 47 year-old Lloyd Johnson, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
