Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, January 19, 2020, in the 4000 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast.
At approximately 1:41 pm, the suspect and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and threatened the victim. The suspect was arrested by responding officers.
On Sunday, January 19, 2020, 30-year-old Luella Rawlings, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
