Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, in the 3900 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast.
At approximately 8:37 pm, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Monday, April 27, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 27 year-old Jarrell Gayden, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
