Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, February 4, 2019, in the 2300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast.
At approximately 5:15 pm, the suspect brandished a handgun and began firing at the listed location. The suspect then fled the scene. Five victims sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
On Wednesday, February 6, 2019, 30-year-old Ronnell Rashicke Offutt, of Southwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
