Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, February 24, 2019, in the 2300 block of Good Hope Road, Southeast.
At approximately 3:58 pm, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. DC Fire and EMS arrived on the scene and transported the victims to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Thursday, March 7, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 23 year-old Norman Green, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
