Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, October 27, 2019, in the 200 block of 2nd Street, Northwest.
At approximately 9:59 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and assaulted the victim. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. A firearm was recovered.
On Sunday, October 27, 2019, 32 year-old Mark Goldbring, of Dale City, VA, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
