Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fifth District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, January 20, 2020, in the 1900 block of Lawrence Street, Northeast.
At approximately 12:56 am, the suspect approached the victims at the listed location. The suspect brandished a firearm and demanded property. One of the victims fled the scene. The suspect fired his handgun in the direction of the victim. There were no injuries.
On Monday, July 27, 2020, a 16 year-old juvenile male, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
