(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Second District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, November 28, 2021, in the 1700 block of K Street, Northwest.
At approximately 3:45 am, the victims and the suspect were involved in a verbal altercation at the listed location. A short time later, the suspect brandished a firearm outside the location and fired in the direction of the victims. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers and a firearm was recovered on scene.
On Sunday, November 28, 2021, 19 year-old Joshua Ventura Emmanuel Perez, of Hyattsville, Maryland, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
