Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, in the 1100 block of Constitution Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 2:16 pm, the suspect brandished a handgun at the listed location, and pointed it at the victim. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle.
On Wednesday, April 17, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 28 year-old Joseph Boykin, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
