Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) and Armed Robbery (Gun) Offense: 400 Block of Jefferson Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) and an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, November 4, 2019, in the 400 block of Jefferson Street, Northwest.

 

At approximately 2:09 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The suspects then assaulted the victim, took the victim’s property then fled the scene. 

 

On Monday, November 11, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 29 year-old Ashley Robinson, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery (Gun).

 

On Thursday, November 14, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 24 year-old Michael Squire, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) and Armed Robbery (Gun).

 

This case remains under investigation.
