Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, February 9, 2020, in the 1400 block of K Street, Northwest.
At approximately 2:37 am, a suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and assaulted the victim. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. A firearm was recovered.
On Sunday, February 9, 2020, 39 year-old Kaytron Goins, of Woodbridge, VA, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
