Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Bottle) offense that occurred on Thursday, October 31, 2019, in the 1300 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 1:45 am, the suspect struck the victim with a bottle, inside of an establishment, at the listed location. The victim was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment. The suspect was apprehended on scene.
On Thursday, October 31, 2019, 27-year-old Jonhantan Ernesto Alfaro Portillo, of Adelphi, MD, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Bottle).
