Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Bottle) Offense: 1100 Block of 19th Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon offense that occurred on Sunday, March 31, 2019, in the 1100 block of 19th Street, Northwest.

At approximately 3:36 am, the suspect approached two victims at the listed location. The suspect assaulted both victims then struck one of them with a glass bottle. One of the victims sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.

On Sunday, March 31, 2019, 59-year-old Robert Jones, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Bottle).
