Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third and Fifth Districts have announced an arrest has been made in reference to Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Robbery Offenses that occurred at the following locations:
- Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun)/ Theft One (Stolen Auto): On Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at approximately 5:20 am, in the 200 block of V Street, Northeast, the suspects and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation about a stolen motorcycle at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and pointed at the victim then both suspects fled the scene. This case remains under investigation. CCN: 19-111-283
- Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Brick): On Friday, November 29, 2019, at approximately 3:09 am, in the 1200 block of U Street, Northwest, the suspect and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation at the listed location. The suspect threw a brick and struck the victim then fled the scene. CCN: 19-213-081
- Robbery (Snatch): On Friday, November 29, 2019, at approximately 2:36 pm, in the 1500 block of U Street, Northwest, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects snatched the victim’s property then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation. CCN: 19-111-283
On Thursday, January 16, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 19-year-old Duron Hudson, of Northeast, DC was arrested and charged with the above offenses.
