Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District announce an arrest has been made and an additional suspect is sought in reference to an Armed Robbery (Knife) offense that occurred on Thursday, June 15, 2023, in the 1800 Block of West Virginia Avenue, Northeast.
At approximately 8:15 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location and offered to sell the victim marijuana. The victim refused. The suspects brandished a knife and took the victim’s wallet which contained US currency. The suspects fled the scene.
On Wednesday, July 5, 2023, 28-year-old Kevon Lockerman of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery (Knife).
