Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Armed Robbery (Knife) offense that occurred on Monday, November 25, 2019, in the 1200 block of Brentwood Road, Northeast.
At approximately 4:46 am, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. The suspect was in the process of purchasing merchandise and during this transaction, brandished a knife and demanded currency. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene.
On Monday, November 25, 2019, 51 year-old Darryl Royal McGill, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery (Knife).
