Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District announce an arrest has been made in reference to Armed Robbery and Theft One (Stolen Auto) offenses that occurred in the Second District.
- Theft One (Stolen Auto): On Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at approximately 12:15 am, the suspect entered the victim’s vehicle in the 1000 block of 24th Street, Northwest. The suspect then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. CCN: 19-077-970
- Armed Robbery: On Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at approximately 11:16 pm, the suspect entered an establishment in the 1300 block of Wisconsin Avenue, Northwest. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded US currency from the register. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene. CCN: 19-079-414
- Armed Robbery: On Thursday, May 9, 2019, at approximately 12:30 am, the suspect approached two victims in the 2500 block of K Street, Northwest. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded the victims’ property. The victims complied and the suspect fled the scene. CCN: 19-079-435
- Theft One (Stolen Auto): On Friday, May 10, 2019, at approximately 3:30 am, the suspect entered the victim’s vehicle in the 900 block of New Hampshire Avenue, Northwest. The suspect then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. CCN: 19-080-179
On Friday, May 10, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 24 year-old Sadek Mohammed, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with two counts of Armed Robbery and two counts of Theft One (Stolen Auto).
