Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Armed Carjacking offense that occurred on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, in the 900 block of Madison Street, Northwest.
At approximately 1:16 am, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a taser and demanded the victim’s keys. The suspects took the victim’s property then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.
On Wednesday, October 16, 2019, 21 year-old Tyrell Jordan Stewart, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Armed Carjacking.
This case remains under investigation.
