Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Armed Carjacking offense that occurred on Sunday, April 21, 2019 in the 3900 block of Dix Street, Northeast.
At approximately 8:28 am, the suspect approached the victim, while the victim was inside of their vehicle, at the listed location. The suspect then brandished a handgun and demanded that the victim exit the vehicle. The victim complied and the suspect entered the vehicle and fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
On Sunday, April 21, 2019, 34-year-old Larry Duncan, of Landover, MD, was arrested and charged with Armed Carjacking.
