Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Armed Carjacking offense that occurred on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, in the 1800 block of E Street, Northeast.
At approximately 3:14 am, two suspects entered the victim’s rideshare vehicle at the listed location. One suspect brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s vehicle. The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.
On Wednesday, May 22, 2019, a 15 year-old juvenile male, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Armed Carjacking.
This case remains under investigation.
