Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Carjacking Task Force announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Armed Carjacking (Knife) offense that occurred on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, in the Unit block of K Street, Northwest.
At approximately 2:55 pm, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a knife and demanded the victim’s vehicle key. The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.
On Thursday, March 5, 2022, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, a 16 year-old juvenile male, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Armed Carjacking (Knife).
This case remains under investigation.
