Arrest Made and Additional Suspects Sought in an Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun): 300 Block of 8th Street, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun) offense that occurred on Friday, February 5, 2021, in the 300 Block of 8th Street, Northeast.

 

At approximately 4:12 pm, the suspects entered an establishment at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded U.S. currency. The suspects took U.S. currency from a cash register, and the victim’s phone, then fled the scene.

 

On Friday, February 5, 2021, a 17 year-old juvenile male, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun).

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
