Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have announced an arrest has been made in a fatal shooting that occurred in the 5100 block of H Street, Southeast, on Friday, September 2, 2016.
At approximately 9:30 pm, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located an unconscious adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire & EMS personnel responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital. After all life-saving efforts failed, the victim was pronounced dead.
The decedent has been identified as 23-year-old Christopher Redfear of Capitol Heights, MD.
On Monday, January 6, 2020, 30 year-old Julius Senior, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder while Armed.
