Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Armed Carjacking (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, April 27, 2020, in the Unit block of Forrester Street, Southwest.
At approximately 2:30 pm, two suspects approached the victim as he sat in his vehicle at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s vehicle. The victim complied. The suspects then fled scene in the vehicle.
On Wednesday, April 29, 2020, a 17-year-old juvenile male of Southwest, DC, was arrested and charged with an Armed Carjacking (Gun).
This case remains under investigation.
