Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Third District announced additional arrests have been made in reference to an Aggravated Assault offense that occurred on Sunday, July 14, 2019, in the 1900 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 1:00 am, several suspects approached the victims at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victims then fled the scene. The victims were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
On Friday, July 26, 2019, a 17 year-old juvenile male, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault.
On Thursday, August 1, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, a 15 year-old juvenile female, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Simple Assault.
On Tuesday, August 13, 2019, 18 year-old Antoin Whitehead, of Southeast, DC and a 17 year-old juvenile male, of Northeast, DC, were arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault.
This case remains under investigation.
