The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of suspects in a series of armed robberies that occurred in Northeast.

In each of the offenses listed below, which occurred on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, the suspects exited a green Hyundai Santa Fe with Virginia tags, brandished a firearm, and demanded the victim’s property.  

• 5th and K Street, Northeast at approximately 1:23 a.m. CCN 26150270
• 300 Morse Street, Northeast at approximately 1:25 a.m. CCN 26150267
• 1500 Elkington Place, Northeast at approximately 2:55 a.m. CCN 26150285 

Through investigative efforts, Fifth District detectives gathered information and developed leads that identified the suspects.

On Tuesday, October 27, 2026, pursuant to a DC Superior Court pre-petition custody order, a 17-year-old juvenile male of Southeast, D.C., and a 15-year-old juvenile male of Northeast, D.C., were arrested and charged with three counts of Robbery while Armed.
