Unknown - Homicide Victim - October 2006

Sunday, October 8, 2006

On Saturday, October 8, 2006, the skeletal remains of an individual were discovered in the rear of the 4400 block of Texas Avenue, SE. A forensic composite was created based on the remains. The individual is described as an Asian or Asian-Hispanic male with possible, but slight Caucasian admixture. He is estimated to be in his mid- to late-30s, possibly, but unlikely very early 40s, at the time of death. It is estimated that he was approximately 5’8” - 5’10” in height. The condition of the remains indicate the body had been exposed for approximately a year-and-a-half to three years.

The cause of death has been ruled a homicide. Anyone with information about the victim’s identity or any possible suspects in this case is asked to contact Detective Q Wallace at (202) 724-2483 of the MPDC’s Violent Crimes Branch or the Metropolitan Police Department’s Synchronized Operations Command Center (SOCC) at 202 727-9099.
