On Friday, February 24, 1994, Lawrence O’Connell was kidnapped as he left his job at Voice of American in Washington, D.C. His kidnappers used his ATM card and drove down to a shopping center at Bryans Road in Charles County Maryland, where they used his credit cards. O’Connell was then taken back to Washington, DC and murdered near RFK Stadium.The Metropolitan Police Department is looking to identify the person who used O’Connell’s ATM and credit cards (composite and ATM photo). She is described as a short, white female.
