On Friday, July 30, 2021 at approximately 2:27 pm, Mr. Thomas Yates was struck with a blunt force object in the 800 block of Bladensburg Road, NE. On Thursday, August 5, Mr. Yates succumbed to his injuries. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this homicide.
