On Tuesday, September 19, 1978, at about 5:55 pm, while operating his taxi in the 1100 block of 2nd Street, NE, 31-year-old Lloyd Dudley Jones was the victim of a homicide-shooting. This crime remains unsolved. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information about this homicide.
