On Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at approximately 2:02 am, Mr. Earnest McWilliams was shot in the 4500 block of Benning Road, SE. He was hospitalized in critical condition, where he died of his injuries on February 22, 2014. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
